Focus and Scope

The Antoninus Journal (ISSN: 2423-3084) is an annual, peer-reviewed journal written in English and / Filipino (with English abstract) that publishes high quality research articles, theoretical and critical essays and reviews. The journal aims to build up quality information that are relevant and of significance to the Church, society, and the environment.

Publication Ethics

The Antoninus Journal (TAJ) strongly adheres to research and publication ethics. Manuscripts are accepted for review and eventual publication under the assumption that it is original; and that all listed authors (for multi-authored papers) agree to the contents of the submitted version. The paper should not have been published elsewhere nor should it have been submitted for review / publication simultaneous with the submission to TAJ. Proper acknowledgement and citation of other results or publications should be made by the authors throughout the manuscript. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will mean automatic rejection of the paper. Change in authorship or order of authors will not be accepted after acceptance has been issued by TAJ editorial board. Breach of ethical procedures will result in the automatic rejection of the manuscript and legal action will be taken as needed.

TAJ adopts the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) rules and guidelines.

Open Access Policy

The journal provides immediate open access to its contents. TAJ articles are protected under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. Articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial License which permits unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the work is properly cited.

Publication Frequency

TAJ is published annually. PDF’s of “online-first” editions of articles are uploaded in the website upon acceptance of the manuscript. This will be replaced by the final PDF version upon the finalization of the laid out version of the article which will be sent to the author for final approval prior to uploading it in the website.
